#TNR at an #ElMonte gig in ’97. @elpopeq let me know that the lineup back then was Ricky Villalobos on vocals, Robert Jimenez and Sergio Enriquez on guitars, Lalo Enriquez on bass, and David Zamora on drums.
I made a grid thing on the IG. All of the videos are in this long post. I shot the TSOL video at the bottom but didn't post the full thing on YouTube, so a minute is all you get. Sorry.
I already posted this one, but that was before I had the idea to post the OG and two covers. #SYPHIC covering #TSOL’s “#CodeBlue” at a gig in #ElMonte black in ’97. YouTube user daniel poorboy uploaded this a few months ago. There are some good #SGVpunk videos on his channel. Go take a look. If you know that guy tell him I said thanks and I’ll be posting more of his stuff.
@powerdrummer of @bruisedgender and @litmusgreen is also in @tsol_official, which means they can be claimed as an #SGV band. He was also in #TheJawaz and I didn’t find out until a couple months ago that he was the same Tony “Hardcore” Chingas that played in #TheFeds and was on some of the demo I wore out back in the day. I shot this almost a year ago when they played all of Dance with Me and the first EP at @regenttheaterla. Who else is going to see them there with Youth Brigade and Go Betty go on Friday?
