(1/6) I kind of got obsessed with #Covina’s #XOToxins a little. They are Dean Wilson on bass and vocals, Mike Stute on guitar and backing vocals, and Dave Kakuk on drums. From what I’ve been able to dig up on them, it looks like they were active from around ‘89 to ‘93, but I’m probably wrong and expect to be corrected. They got back together a little over 3 years ago to play @gonzopresents’ birthday show at Characters in Pomona with Manic Hispanic and fellow #SGV band Schleprock, who might have also reformed for that show or one right around that time. Above the band is an ad for their demo Bad Attitude and Live at Ugenes from what looks like a free weekly newspaper or newsprint zine called Factor X.

(4/6) This is from an #XOToxins set in ‘91 at Munchies in #Pomona. According to the description on YouTube, “This show ended with broken bottles, broken windows, broken bones, arrests, fines, and probation.” There’s actually a decent amount of live footage of these guys online.
